The Moscow’s Domodedovo International Airport is a leader on passenger carriage capacities in Russia.
In 2010, the Airport’s total passenger flow came to 22,254,000 people, as this exceeds the 2009-year indicator by 19.2%.
At present, 77 airlines including 29 Russian air companies, 12 airlines from CIS and 36 foreign ones operate their flights to Domodedovo. The flights departing from Domodedovo are operated on 241 domestic and international destinations, 92 of which are unique ones for the Moscow Region, as one may travel on them from Domodedovo only.
The Airport is a member of the Airport Council International (ACI), as it takes an active part in activities of the first professional organization representing the airports’ interests from the entire world and it promotes to their efficient interactions.
According to the rating of the independent Skytrax Agency, the Great Britain, the Domodedovo International Airport is among three the best airport in Eastern Europe.
The Airport Civil Aviation Association awarded Domodedovo with the rank of The Best Airport in CIS-2008.
