How to use accrued points
The points may be used to get the Belek-Bonus Program Awards including the award air ticket on KR flights, as well as bonus upgrade of the service class on KR flights.
Bonus Registration
General Provisions
If a Personal Account has a required number of points, as well as at least one KR flight paid on the tariff participating in accruing the points for the last 24 months the Participant has the right to:
- Check-in his Bonus air ticket on KR flight;
- Register Bonus upgrade of the service class on KR flight.
The list of available Bonuses and the number of Points required for registering Points is shown in the Bonus Tables acting for Booking Bonuses at the KR website.
All points used for a particular award should be taken away from a Belek Bonus Program Participant’s Personal Account. One does not allow paying a prize by points from multiple accounts.
Taking away points from the account does not affect on saving a status of the elite Programme Participant.
Checking-in/registration of the bonus air ticket or upgrade of the service class is carried out in offices of own sales/representative offices of KR.
A participant may register the bonus on himself, as well as on any other person named by him. The participant is fully responsible for using the Bonus.
Previously registered Bonuses can not be reissued to another person, or be transferred and/or ceded to another person.
The Bonuses can not be sold, purchased or exchanged for material goods or other Bonuses. In the case if the Bonuses are used in this way, the Bonus may be annulled and the participant who carried out the specified actions may be excluded from further participation in the Programme.
KR reserves the right to limit the amount of Bonuses on flights and introduce restrictions on their issuance during the periods of high demand.
Bonus air tickets on KR flights
All Bonus air tickets are issued in electronic form (E-ticket).
Issuing a bonus air ticket is carried out in the air ticket sales offices/representative offices of KR. To obtain a Bonus air ticket one should provide an original/copy/temporary card of the Programme Participant and original/copy of his/her passport. The Participant who is an account holder or his authorized representative may check out the bonus air ticket.
Checking out /registering a bonus air ticket online
Each participant of the Belek-Bonus Programme has an opportunity to obtain his Bonus air ticket at the website, no later than 48 hours prior the scheduled departure.
The Bonus air tickets are issued on checked-in on both one way and round trip KR regular flights.
Checking-in bonus air tickets on code-share flights operated jointly with other airlines is regulated by commercial agreements, in connection with which there may be limitations on their issuance.
The points for flights on bonus air tickets are not accrued.
The bonus air ticket may be issued only when a confirmed reservation is available. One does not allow issuing an opened-date air ticket.
Booking bonus air tickets on KR flights is carried out in the booking class of “I” – business class and booking class of “R” – Economy Class.
KR reserves the right to refuse in checking-in a bonus carriage when using the Belek-Bonus points on a particular date and flight in the absence of seats in the bonus class of reservation.
Validity for bonus air tickets checked out with using the points is one year since the date of issue.
The Programme Participant is fully responsible for paying for fuel and airport charges and/or other taxes and duties of other state agencies charged in connection with air transportation, as well as the charges related with applying the rules of the Belek-Bonus Programme.
Upgrading the class of service if the Programme Participant has a bonus air ticket issued by mean of flown miles is not allowed.
The bonus air ticket checked out with using the Programme’s bonuses cannot be sold, exchanged for other bonuses or award, and it cannot be transferred to another person.
In the case if a Bonus air ticket is voluntarily returned the points will not be returned to the Participant’s account. Only unused fees and charges are subjected to refund.
In the case of a voluntarily change of departure date/flight one permits re-checking out the bonus air ticket with collection of the following penalties:
- Before the departure time shown on the mutable flight coupon – 50 Euros;
- After the departure time indicated on the flight coupon mutable including the no-show at flight – 100 Euros.
In the case if a flight is cancelled caused by KR the Participant should make a request to refund his points in order to return his unused points on the Bonus air ticket to the Program Participant’s account. In this request, the Participant should provide with brief description of what happened and enclose a copy of the air ticket and a copy of the boarding pass (if the check-in was made), and send the request to the central office within 90 (ninety) days from the date of the accident.
Upgrading service class by bonuses
Upgrading the service class by bonuses is probable only on regular KR flights and it includes upgrading the service class in the case of available seats and in exchange to cancel the Bonuses in accordance with the Table of Bonuses.
The number of points required for upgrading the service class by bonuses depends from the fare paid for an economy class air ticket. Upgrading the service class by bonuses is only probable for certain groups of tariffs defined by these Rules (see the Table of Bonuses). Upgrading the service class is not done on Bonus air tickets.
Upgrading the service class can be registered in air ticket sales office/representative offices of KR.
When upgrading the class of service, there are conditions and limitations for the original (paid) air ticket. The points for the flight with applying upgrading the service class by bonuses Premium service upgrade in the Programme are accrued for the original air ticket in accordance with the fare paid.
One does not allow upgrading the service class by bonuses on air tickets with open date. One does not allow upgrading the service class by bonuses on a limited part of the air route in a single air ticket.
The air ticket checked out with upgrading the service class by bonuses may be refunded under the terms of the initially fare paid during the term of the air ticket validity. The points will not be returned on the Participant’s account.
It is possible to change the flight date under the terms of the fare paid.
The air ticket checked out with increasing the class of service can not be exchanged for other awards or points and it cannot be transferred to another person.
Registration of upgrading the service class by bonuses on code-share flights operated by other airlines is regulated by commercial agreements, in connection with which there may be limitations on their issuance.
Booking of upgrading the service class by bonuses is carried out into the business class (booking class of “I”).
KR reserves the right to refuse in booking upgrading the service class by bonuses with using points on the selected flight if seats are lacking.
Validity of the air ticket issued with upgrading the service class by bonuses is determined according to the applied fare paid, from which this upgrade has been done.
