Check-ins and handling your baggage is carried out at airports’ check-in stands.
The time of starting checking-in your air tickets and handling baggage depends from your destination and one establishes that:
- For international airlines/flights: three hours prior to departure;
- For domestic airlines/flights: one hour prior to departure.
As regards each specific flight, when you buy an air ticket at an air ticket sales office you are welcome to find out information about the time of starting check-in.
The time of ending check-in is not later than 40 minutes prior to departure unless otherwise is provided by the Contract with Air Company.
For passing through your check-in, you should declare your air ticket and passport, as well as check in your luggage and get a tag for your hand luggage. After checking-in, a passengers is given a boarding pass.
